Project Management, Project Engineering and Construction Management

Project Management is the application of skills, knowledge, tools, and techniques to manage Project activities to deliver the Scope on Time, within Cost and required Quality.
Both Project Engineering and Construction Management are subsets of Project Management, but they are specialist Engineering aspects that play crucial roles in developing, implementing and
delivering a Successful Project. Understanding the subtle differences and interfaces that do exist, assists in reducing the complexity of Project Management to more manageable levels.

Project Engineering is responsible for the technical deliverables, applications and processes; whilst Project Management bears the responsibility for the overall objectives beyond just the deliverables, especially the overarching risk mitigation and management of the entirety of the project. Construction Management focuses on the Planning and Execution of the Work on Site.
Project Management, Project Engineering and Construction Management are undertaken in all phases of a Project Life Cycle.
